Phyllis Hartley Howard

Phyllis Brown Perkins (Hartley) Howard was an ordained elder of the Church of the Nazarene and served as a missionary in Japan, director of Nazarene World Missions Society (now Nazarene Missions International), a professor at Northwest Nazarene College (now University), and professor and vice president for Academic Affairs at Nazarene Bible College. She married Melza Brown until his death in 1977. She then married Floyd Perkins and joined him in ministry for 25 years. After his death, she married Quentin Howard.
